Hrithik Roshan to act in Tom Cruise?s Knight and Day remake?

If the chinwag is true then Shahid Kapoor has lost yet another big production!

A long time ago, international production house Fox Studios had announced plans to remake Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz-starrer Knight and Day in Hindi, starring Shahid Kapoor with Siddharth Anand as director. After releasing a few photographs of the Teri Meri Kahaani actor with Anand (director ofAnjaana Anjaani), we never heard anything new about the project. Except that one-time when the director and the star actor were spotted with Bipasha Basu ?coz she was being considered to play Diaz?s part.

Anyway, the taaza khabar from Fox Studios is that Hrithik Roshan is now set to replace Shahid Kapoor. Why? Because Sasha had two back-to-back dud films namely, Mausam and Teri Meri Kahaani. We are glad that Shahid will no longer be part of the remake of a mediocre Hollywood action drama that had nothing exciting to start with. But losing out on a big production isn?t a good sign for the young rising star, no? Remember Shaks has already walked out of Yash Raj Films? upcoming project helmed by Maneesh Sharma citing date issues? However, that?s another story ?coz we hear that dates are not the real reason why the TMK actor isn?t doing the film.

Coming back to the desi version of the videsi action flick, a li?l birdie tells us that the jobless superhero of Krrish 3 ? now called HRo by near and dear ones, and not Duggu ? has accepted the film, and the makers are pursuing Katrina Kaif for the leading lady?s role.

If the Ek Tha Tiger babe agrees to do the film, we think it will be Hrithik and Kat?s chemistry ? somewhat explored in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara ? that will make the lackluster story of Knight And Dayshine for Bollywood buffs! Don?t you agree?

?Mallika is a big icon for sensuality and I think it is something which has not been recognised. The amount of contribution Mallika has added to the bold woman as a heroine ? from the meek girl to the really strong powerful Indian woman, is commendable,? said Vivek.

However Mallika opines that Vivek?s character in the movie is horniest. ?In real life he is a true gentleman, but in the film, he is so horny it is unbelievable,? said the actress. In real life, Vivek is happy with his career and eagerly awaiting the arrival of his baby. His wife,Priyanka Alva, is expecting.

?I have only thanked god for everything because this year I am doing nine films. There is some good news at home as well. God has given good news at my house, so thank you Ganapati Bappa,? he said. The feeling of becoming a father is ?is phenomenal and I can?t explain it in words,? says Vivek, adding: ?It is a beautiful growth of relationship between a man and woman.?

When PZ was asked about the Student Of The Year director's involvement in IIP, she acknowledged it and said, "I'd like to thank Karan for having a heart of gold and helping me find a solution (to all my problems)."

And we guess that now it?s time for Bebo to start talking, or so she would?ve liked us to believe when she said that that she will be ready to talk about her wedding only after Heroine releases. But why now?

According to the birdies we chirp to, the makers of Heroine were skeptical about Saifeena?s wedding stealing the limelight from the hyped-for-nothing movie. And so we?re guessing that KK was instructed by none other than Madhur Bhandarkar to stay mum. Hmmm, a logical move. But can?t really say it worked, can we?

Then there?s buzz that Kareena has no big release for a while after Heroine and so, just to stay in the news, the gal has decided to take it one story at a time. Errr?really? If this actually turns out to be true, we?ll be surprised. Why? Imagine the thought and manipulation involved in strategising such a move! And could Kareena be that particular about staying in the news? We doubt it. But then, who knows, right?

Whatever the reason, the point to be noted is that it?s (finally) time for Kareena to open up, as she promised. And she did! But do you what she said? ?I don?t know why it?s (the wedding) such a big thing.? Sigh! So much for sharing all, Bebo.

The magazine?s anniversary party was good fun. And while the ladies were seen making the most of this soiree, the men weren?t far behind either

We have to start with Kajol as she continues to surprise us with her gorgeous fashion statements. We appreciate Mrs Devgn?s moxie to experiment with different styles, and that too with such infectious elegance. The pink Ramona Narang dress works wonders for her personality. The golden cuff lends a very Greek look to her style and obviously we can?t get our eyes off that pretty shiny clutch. While Kajol was busy basking in the attention, newcomer Alia Bhatt played it safe with a bling Dior dress. Since she?s young and hip, we expected her to get a li?l whacky.

The person who was really in a mood to take a risk was Shibani Dandekar. Those front bangs, sequined jacket teamed with black pants and dark lipstick made her look like a stylish Goth chick. Even Sonal Chauhan impressed us with her futuristic statement- a backless dress with pointed shoulders, cool no? Kalki kept it simple and chic, and not to forget very French, in a pleated outfit and Dia sizzled in a gorgeous LBD.

There were also celebs who failed to up the ante. Prateik and Sidhartha Mallya?s ensembles made us cringe! Mallya?s hideous loafers and Prateik?s punk look gets a vehement boohoo from us. And shockingly even Jacqueline Fernandez was seen joining the style disaster clique. The velvety ensemble makes us shudder in embarrassment. Now that?s what we call an absolute style fest, with the right doses of fashion and spice, we definitely like!
