Zoe Saldana Replaces Mary J. Blige In Nina Simone
Biopic

What’s in the new chicken wraps, Mary? Well, apparently it’s a movie role replacement!  According to WENN, back in 2010 Mary J. Blige was lined up to play singer Nina Simone in a new biopic that was supposed to start filming last year.  The film then experienced a number of financial issues and Mary J. Blige subsequently stepped down from the role.

But now it’s been revealed that Zoe Saldana will be playing Nina.  The movie will start filming in Los Angeles this October.  Zoe will be starring along side David Oyelowo, who will play her manager Clifton Henderson.  What do you think?  Should Mary J. Janet Jackson Says She Didn’t Ask The
Jackson Estate To Pay Mortgage

And the Jackson family drama continues! But it sounds like more of it is battling against rumors that have appeared over the past few months.  This time it’s Janet Jackson‘s turn to clear the air.  According to Entertainment Tonight, Janet is speaking out through her lawyers regarding the claims that she asked the Jackson Estate to foot some of her mortgage bill for her Las Vegas home.

According to her lawyer Blair Brown, Janet’s Las Vegas home, which is not a condo, has never even had a mortgage, and she purchased the home outright 10 years ago for her mother Katherine Jackson’s use. Furthermore, Janet has “provided financial support unconditionally to her mother before and after Michael’s death and will continue to do so,” her representative states.

Welp! That takes care of that little story!  And in case there is ever any question about how many coins Janet has in her purse, her lawyer also laid that out and made it plain: 

“She is a successful artist and very high net worth individual who has never had financial problems. She has no need for any such payments from the estate,” Brown states.

Cracked The Code Behind Miley Cyrus’ New Look

People have been losing their damn minds over Miley Cyrus new peroxide punk makeover like she’s the first woman to go crazy at the hair salon or twerk out a pair of Doc Martins. “it was just one of those CUHHH-RAZY pant days,” Cyrus tweeted yesterday, along with a shot of some Magic Eye-looking leggings. We bet you dollars to donuts if you took a time machine to 1993, you could see approximately one billion women rocking the same look. Actually, you don’t have to go back in time at all, because Miley’s look strongly reminded us of other bleached blond fashionistas she’s starting to resemble.

First, we saw a hint of model/Giovanni Rivisi‘s bride Agyness Deyn.

Then we realized once you add the wacky pants, Miley’s platinum locks and singing ability were very Robyn-esque.

And of course dark eyebrows and red lips have been Gwen Stefani‘s steez since the early ’90s. Speaking of the early nineties…

Okay, we can’t be the only one who sees the extremely strong resemblance between Miley and Lori Petty in 1995′s Tank Girl. Right? Oh sweet blog…we can’t be far away from a Tank Girl remake? Could such a more perfect natural confluence occur? Plus Liam Hemsworth would be amazing as one of those disgusting kangaroo people! Someone get the studio on the phone. Any studio!
