The Top 10 Most Cringeworthy VMA Moments: Michael
Jackson, Kanye West, Lil Mama And More

Sure, we watch the MTV Video Music Awards to see our favorite artists pick up a trophy or two for their work in the past year and to watch some phenomenal performances. But there’s a big reason it’s way more fun to watch than, say, the Grammys: Having this many stars in such a party-hard atmosphere always leads to some of the best unscripted moments on TV. A whole lot of those moments are simply fun, but often they turn into car-wreck spectacles. Of course, the latter is what we end up remembering in the decades that follow. From Andrew Dice Clay’s off-color jokes that got him banned from MTV for life to Michael Jackson’s misunderstood birthday cake to Kanye West’s infamous “Imma let you finish” speech, we love those moments that make us cringe in our seats, anticipating the embarrassment the perpetrators probably won’t feel until the morning after. Our Lilo Deja Vu Only Grows Stronger: Amanda
Bynes Charged With 2 Counts Of Hit-And-Run

Same multiple vehicular infractions, same child star past, same mile-long extensions and thousand-yard stare: if it wasn’t for the name, we’d might think the latest update bout Amanda Bynes‘ constant string of minor car accidents was just Lindsay Lohan news recycled from 2010. Or 2011. Or, um, from earlier this summer. Granted, Lindsay never went so far as to tweet at President Obama demanding he both clear her of DUI charges and “fire the cop who arrested” her as Bynes did, but other than that both ladies seem equally as likely to act like it’s celebrity bumper cars up in here.

According to TMZ, the All That alum is now being charged with two counts of hit-and-run, the first from an April incident where Amanda drunkenly sideswiped a cop car, the second from a fender bender back in August. Authorities allegedly brought the charges after determining that damage to the victim’s car matched that sustained by Bynes’ vehicle. If convicted on both counts, the actress could face up to a year in jail. Oh dear god, remember when Lindsay was in jail? That first time? We are not prepared to go through all of that again. For either of them!

Our Hearts

Demi Lovato took her fierce blonde locks to the Today Show this morning to discuss the upcoming season of The X Factor. And if you’re anything like us you’re super pumped for the show to begin next week, less for the new talent, but more for tons of Demi and Britney Spears face-time. Demi gushed about Britney, saying she never thought she’d be sitting next to Britney Spears for anything “let alone working with her.” Demi told Today Show host Natalie Morales, that she was amazed that Brit said Demi was cooler than her. Demi’s mind was blown by this since, after all, this is “Britney-freakin-Spears!” Demi, we hear you girl, but give yourself some credit, too! Demi said Britney was one of her idols and one of the first concerts she’d ever been to. We can’t wait to see these stylish BFFs in action!
