Even though they did their best to keep things under wraps, it seems like the biggest event of this year is finally happening. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan will finally get married on the 17th of October.

Kareena, who is still much in talks about her great performance in Heroine, is apparently taking the month off from any work commitments. She has some promotional events to do for her next suspense thriller with Rani Mukherji and Aamir Khan, but she is not attending those either. She has informed all the concerned people about her unavailability for any event and has requested all her campaigns to be shifted to after 1st November. Also, Kareena is said to be starting with Satyagraha, which is Prakash Jha's next, on 10th January, after which she will start Punit Malhotra's next with Imran Khan on January 25th. She will be going off to Europe sometime in December for her annual getaway with Saif Ali Khan.

It is also being said that Saif and Bebo's marriage will take place in the ancestral palace of Pataudi, as there is some renovation going on there since quite some time now. Kareena is reportedly wearing Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore's wedding outfit, in which her traditional dupatta will remain the same and the farshi pyjama and kurta will be recreated for Kareena.

It has been reported earlier that they applied for court registration already, but Kareena chose to remain tight lipped about it. Well well, the entire nation is waiting to attend this marriage!

The Khiladi is back! Yes you read that right, the wait is officially over, the biggest franchise of Indian cinema is back on the silver screen because Akshay Kumar is taking on his Khiladi avatar again. Talking about coming back to the character after 12 years he said, "I feel great about it. It had never gone away from me, I always used to take risks and its great because Khiladi is a word which means a player, a sportsman. You can connect it with anything, so its great coming back to it."

The beauty about entertainment writing is that you get to meet and get to know so many artistes with such passion for their work that it brings a special joy just having to pen two lines about them. One such artist I have recently got to know is Jankee Parekh. Singer, musician, performer, Jankee's love for music has taken her across continents on stage shows, tours and concerts, collaborating with artists like Atif Aslam, Shreya Ghoshal, Shankar Ehsaan Loy and performing alongside International acts such as T-Pain, Sean Paul and Kelly Rowland.

Being an independent artist who is always looking at avenues to explore creativity, Jankee shot a debut music video, an unplugged version of Tumse Hi (Jab We Met) couple of months back. Thrilled with the response the video received, she recently recorded a second video on ?Iktara' a beautiful composition by music composer Amit Trivedi from Karan Johar produced film Wake up Sid (originally starring Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona).

Speaking about the choice of the song, Jankee says "Having loved both the Punjabi and Hindi versions of the song, I decided to combine the two. ?Iktara' is the special song that I sing in all my live concerts, as it beautifully simmers through the nuances of being in love and longing for your loved one. It also happened to be the most popular recommendation on my fan page". "This video is my tribute to Dharma Productions for making such a beautiful film and creating an evergreen melody in ?Iktara', she adds flashing a proud delighted smile.

Shot by Ayush Das, the video features Jankee's real-life husband actor Nakuul Mehta.

After months of filming, press releases and interviews, Kareena Kapoor wants to take a turn and go back to doing fun films. This being said, she's ready to commence on sets of Dharma Productions' new film directed by Punit Malhotra and co-starring Imran Khan.

"After Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, I would love to work with Imran again" she says. Also, Karan Johar is like her family member and Punit loves the regular song and dance kind of movies which are really fun to watch.

Intense characters are pretty hard to play. It's not something that can be perfected overnight. Portraying it the right way on the big screen is the hardest of all. Kareena is now taking a little break but will soon be all over the place filming.

With Agent Vinod and Heroine being full on, it's no surprise that Kareena wants to take it down a notch. And, as "Karan is family" of course she is assured that next film will be light and fun, just the way she wants it. With Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu going from funny to serious, let's hope this upcoming film will be much more interesting.

Australia actress Tabrett Bethell will be joining Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif as well as Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra on sets of Dhoom: 3, making her Hindi film debut.

"Please welcome the lovely Tabrett Bethell who joins the cast of Dhoom: 3 today," Uday Chopra tweeted Friday.

Tabrett first starred in and is best known for her role as Cara in the TV show Legend of the Seeker back in 2009, and starred in movies Strangers Lovers Killers and Anyone You Want. Earlier, names such as Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman and Eva Longoria were mentioned to play opposite Aamir Khan, but the gorgeous Aussie girl bagged the role.

Before acting, Tabrett was a cheerleader for the National Rugby League (NRL) and was a model from the age of 16.

We look forward to seeing what she brings to the screen in the highly anticipated Dhoom: 3!

Meera: John Abraham looks dapper in his black suit. Girlfriend Priya Runchal opted for a simple yet effective Victoria Beckham gown and a small Chanel clutch. Priya proves that sometimes simple is effective!

Verdict : John Abraham and Priya Runchal are HOT!

Ayushmann Khurrana looks dapper in his black suit and bow tie. I do like his leather esque trousers which he carries off nicely and adds a twist to the otherwise simple black suit.

Verdict : Ayushmann Khurrana is HOT!

I am not a fan of this suit on Sidhartha Mallya, sometimes the all white suit look works but not in this case. I think Sidhartha would have benefited from going for a monochrome look and wearing black trousers.

Verdict : Sidhartha Mallya is Not Hot!

Anil Kapoor looks dapper in his Dolce and Gabbana suit and bow tie!

Verdict : Anil Kapoor is HOT!

Amitabh Bachchan ji looks great in this all black suit as usual!

Verdict : Amitabh Bachchan ji looks HOT!

Shahid Kapoor opted for a black suit and added a laid back vibe to it by leaving his top shirt button undone and leaving the tie at home, he works it well. The only thing I don't like is the brown shoes, I know Shahid was trying to be different but they don't really work!

Verdict : Ignore the shoes and Shahid Kapoor is HOT!

I admire Neil Nitin Mukesh for stepping out the box and trying something different. Again as I said with Sidhartha Mallya, Neil would have benefited from breaking up this look and opting for some black trousers. Not a fan of the flared pair Neil is wearing which adds a 70s disco vibe to the look which is never a good thing!

Verdict : Neil Nitin Mukesh dared to be different but unfortunately did not make the mark and is Not Hot!

Dino Moreo is another actor who has decided to opt for a different look. Dino works a simple suit nicely and he would have looked much better if he had left the waistcoat at home. Sometimes simple is more effective!

Verdict : Dino Moreo is Not Hot!

Ajay Devgn opts for a waistcoat and looks dapper. Not a fan of the moustache.

Verdict : Ajay Devgn is HOT!

Rahul Bose works his velvet suit nicely and looks good. The white bow tie does get lost with his white shirt but overall the look works!

Verdict : Rahul Bose is HOT!

Shah Rukh Khan has given us another bonus treat for the upcoming Yash Chopra romance Jab Tak Hai Jaan. He originally translated the Aditya Chopra poem that was seen on a poster and then heard in the gorgeous trailer.

Now he has taken pen or keyboard to hand again because recently they released the first song video, ?Challa', with music by the great AR Rahman and lyrics by the esteemed poet Gulzar and SRK has translated the lyrics into English!

He tweeted:
"With apologies to Gulzar sahib, sorry sir, i attempted the Challa lyrics translation in a poem"
