Evelyn Files For Divorce; Chad Releases Statement

In less than Kim Kardashian’s 72 day reality wedding, Evelyn Lozada calls it quits just after 41 days of marriage to Chad Johnson. According to Evelyn‘s lawyer, Michael B. Gilden, Evelyn has filed divorce documents claiming her marriage is “irretrievably broken”:

Given the recent events that have taken place, Evelyn has decided to file for divorce and move on with her life

Meanwhile Chad Johnson releases a statement, including an apology, in which he claims that he loves Evelyn to death…

I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred. I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death. I will continue to be positive and train hard for another opportunity in the NFL. To all the fans and supporters I have disappointed, you have my sincerest apologies. I will stay positive and get through this tough period in my life.

Wow! This doesn’t help rumors regarding which suggestts Evelyn and Chad’s relationship is made for TV. Well, it’s over, along with their reality show.
